CRC-IB has completed its H1 2024 Market Cost of Energy (MCOE) analysis for 2024 through 2030 for utility-scale solar and wind projects across six regions: CAISO, Southwest, ERCOT, PJM, MISO/SPP, and Southeast (solar only). This edition also includes our inaugural analysis of two increasingly popular scenarios: Solar + Storage ITC Tax Equity Structure and Solar ITC Hybrid Tax Credit Structure. Since our H2 2023 report, MCOE prices have increased by an average of 30%, driven by higher CAPEX and sponsor return requirements.
