Richard O’Day Joins CohnReznick Capital As Senior Managing Director
CohnReznick Capital, a leading investment bank dedicated to the renewable energy industry, today announced the hiring of Richard O’Day, Senior Managing Director, to enhance advisory capabilities and expand practice areas and strategies for the firm.
A renowned industry banker, O’Day has 30 years of experience in the renewable energy, power and infrastructure sectors, having originated and executed $7 billion in financings over 24 renewable energy transactions, and the origination of several initial public offerings and debt securitizations. His significant structured finance expertise was honed during his tenure at Credit Suisse where, as Managing Director and Head of the Structured Solutions Group, he was instrumental in developing the firm’s renewable energy tax-equity structuring business. O’Day had senior predecessor roles in Citigroup’s Real Estate Investment Banking team and Credit Suisse First Boston’s Structured Product Group.
