CRC-IB Promotes Nicolas Chery to Managing Director

CRC-IB is pleased to announce the promotion of Nicolas (“Nico”) Chery to Managing Director. Nico has over 10 years of experience representing clients on a range of sustainable energy transactions, with a particular emphasis on tax credit (traditional tax equity and tax credit transfers), debt, and preferred equity investment advisory. He has raised over $7 billion for utility scale, distributed, and residential energy assets, including the sale of over $1 billion in tax credits.

Prior to CRC-IB, Nico served as Executive Director in J.P. Morgan’s Energy Investments division, where he structured tax equity investments in 3+GW of assets and led J.P. Morgan’s first investment in utility-scale energy storage. Nico began his career in syndicated and leveraged finance at Credit Agricole CIB.
