CRC-IB Advises Alpha Omega Power on Tax Equity Financing for 200MW / 400MWh BESS Project
CRC-IB has advised utility-scale storage developer Alpha Omega Power (“AOP”) in securing tax equity financing for the Vertus Energy Storage Project, a 200MW / 400MWh standalone battery storage facility currently under construction in Galveston County, Texas.
“Vertus marks an important milestone in the expansion of large-scale storage infrastructure in ERCOT, providing critical capacity to the Texas grid during periods of peak demand,” said Nick Knapp, Partner & Senior Managing Director at CRC-IB. “We’re proud to support AOP in bringing this project to market with institutional investor backing.”
CRC-IB served as exclusive financial advisor to AOP, supporting all phases of the transaction.
