CohnReznick Capital Markets Securities supports Bangladesh Rural Advancement Committee (BRAC) with first annual Fundraising Event
More than $30,000 raised for global economic and social programs
CohnReznick Capital Markets Securities was proud to host and sponsor its first fundraising event and silent auction to benefit the international development organization BRAC. Held on November 18th at the Pier A Harbor House in lower Manhattan, the event was supported by corporate sponsors and individual donors whose contributions totaled more than $30,000. All proceeds will go to BRAC to further the organization’s mission to empower people and communities in situations of poverty, illiteracy, disease and social injustice.
The dinner was highlighted by a keynote address from Adam Schwartz, the health program manager at BRAC USA, where he oversees the organization’s health portfolio, including current rebuilding efforts Liberia and Sierra Leone in the aftermath the Ebola epidemic. Attendees participated in a silent auction with donations from Equinox, Gucci, Live in the Vineyard, Manifesto Wines, and more. The event’s sponsors included Juniors in Energy Finance (JiEF), CohnReznick LLP, Titan Grove Holdings, Barclays, Macquarie, First Nationwide Title, and DE Shaw.
