CohnReznick Cap Markets to Speak at SPI 2016

Insight on the Role of Utilities, Financial Innovations, and More at Solar Power International
The CohnReznick and CohnReznick Capital Markets Securities teams are gearing up to join the largest gathering of solar installers, manufacturers, and energy storage professionals at Solar Power International 2016 next month.

We hope you will join us as Tim Kemper and Conor McKenna moderate two of the core panels in the finance track.
The Role of Utilities, Independent Power Producers (IPPs), and Strategic Investors in the Evolving Investor Landscape
Date/Time: Tuesday, September 13 | 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Moderator: Tim Kemper, Partner, CohnReznick LLP

This session will look at the many converging factors at play in the solar investment landscape. Policy-driven market incentives, underpinned by the ITC extension runway, continue to drive market maturity, investor appetite, and utility and IPP participation. Panelists will look at 2016 development so far, and examine the different investor profiles, and opportunities they will have in 2017.
Financial Innovations in the Residential Market
Date/Time: Tuesday, September 13 | 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Moderator: Conor McKenna, Managing Director, CohnReznick Capital Markets Securities, LLC

This panel will look at what the future of residential solar will look like. In the current market, residential solar investors are still grappling with the economics of sponsor/owners: for some, looking at a vertically-integrated company seems to be the best way to go, while for others, they do not see any benefit to a company with hundreds of employees. This session will address how residential solar companies can justify their economic models to discerning investors in the post ITC extension market.
