Gary Durden Featured in International Financing Review

Gary Durden, Partner & Managing Director, was recently featured in International Financing Review’s latest article, where he shared insight into the lending market and how banks are reviewing language in documentation to protect them from potential regulatory changes in the new administration.

“More robust language has largely been maintained through the Biden administration, so I wouldn’t expect many changes from a documentation perspective,” said Gary Durden, partner at CRC-IB, a New York-based investment bank focused on energy transition.

“Transferability bridge loans very quickly became a widely spread product especially for projects that have very long construction timelines,” Durden said. “Until we have more clarity on the new administration’s plans for tax policy, some lenders may be less willing to provide these bridge loans.”
