Inflation Reduction Act: Tax Credit Monetization Analysis

With the passage of the Inflation Reduction Act, there are several new policy additions to help spur the growth of sustainable energy in the U.S., including additions and updates to incentives across a multitude of technologies and structures. The attached analysis provides a preliminary comparison of the benefits to project owners in the solar space under tax equity investments for ITC and PTC, as well as the relative benefits of utilizing the ability to transfer credits (under an ITC scenario).
